VALOR DIVISION
A Professional Approach
We are a Naval Sea Cadet Corps (NSCC) officially commissioned unit located in Trussville, AL. Our Leadership devoted to instilling the US Navy's core values, creating confidence, and maintaining a constant teambuilding atmosphere for all of our current and future cadets. We pride ourselves in providing the correct tools for our Cadets to be able to succeed beyond the program whether they join the Armed Services or move into a professional career past high school.
OUR CORE VALUES
HONOR
I am accountable for my professional and personal behavior. I will be mindful of the privilege I have to serve my fellow Americans.
COURAGE
Courage is the value that gives us the moral and mental strength to do what is right, with confidence and resolution, even in the face of temptation or adversity.
COMMITTMENT
The day-to-day duty of every volunteer or cadet in the NSCC is to join together as a team to improve the quality of our work, our people and ourselves.

ABOUT US
USNSCC is a national youth leadership development organization that promotes interest and skill in naval disciplines while instilling strong moral character and life skills through leadership and technical programs modeled after the Navy's professional development system.
At Valor Division, we bring these opportunities to the Greater Birmingham area and beyond to ensure that families are granted the possibility to give their child the opportunity to be able to learn, experience, and develop their military skills in order to shape their future.
Our Leadership is comprised of Current and Former Military that take great pride in service to our great country and hope to one day pass our passion onto our Cadets. We support any decision beyond the program and have many contacts with those who are actively serving in the Armed Forces if any family member or cadet may be interested in serving our country.
NSCC PROGRAMS

NLCC
THE NLCC IS THE JUNIOR PROGRAM OF THE U.S. NAVAL SEA CADET CORPS. IT WAS DEVELOPED FOR YOUNGER CADETS, AGES 10 THROUGH 13. THE MISSION OF THE NLCC IS TO TRAIN CADETS ABOUT THE SEAGOING MILITARY SERVICES, COMMUNITY SERVICE, CITIZENSHIP, AND AN UNDERSTANDING OF DISCIPLINE AND TEAMWORK SO THAT THEY ARE PREPARED FOR MEMBERSHIP IN THE NSCC
BENEFITS OF NSCC
COMMUNITY RELATIONS
Our cadets have been able to be a part of a lot of community relations around the State of Alabama. We pride ourselves in being involved to make a difference and wear the NSCC badge with pride. A lot of our cadets have been a part of Retirement Ceremonies, Official City Events, Military Fundraisers, and more. We continue to show the importance of having a strong community allows for our program to thrive and continue to be successful as we move forward.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
The NSCC would not be able to operate without the dedication of our volunteers to help lead our cadets. Our leadership is derived from many past and present military members but we are more than willing to talk to anyone who is interested in becoming part of our leadership. Many leaders at NSCC divisions are actually parents or relatives of cadets. We also offer the ability to sign paperwork to contribute towards someones community service for college, careers and beyond.
SPECIALIZED TRAINING
The NSCC program offers our Cadets the opportunity to receive training in their desired field of choice for a very low fee for participation. Once the cadets have attended the required Recruit Training they will be able to receive further training at cooperating military installations.
Some offered NSCC Courses:
Culinary Arts
Mass Communications
